Dinesh Neupane, Master of Public Health Science.
Title of assignment: Pesticide Exposure and Acute Intoxication among Farmers in Nepal.

  • My research project was carried out as a part of master thesis for the completion of my masters degree in Public Health Science from the University of Southern Denmark in 2012. The research not only increased my knowledge in the field of occupational health and safety but also helped me to gain hands on experience. I met so many farmers in person and got a unique opportunity to know the real practices of pesticide use in Nepal. Moreover, this research helped to create a foundation to initiate the Farming, Health and Environment Project in Nepal 2013-2015, which is a great step forward for the occupational health and safety of Nepal“.
